R22 Refrigerant Legislation Options
Since 1st January 2015, it has been illegal to use R22 refrigerant.
If your refrigeration or air-conditioning unit was installed before 2004, you should be making plans to replace it. It can be a simple changeover without having to replace pipework and we specialise in the replacement of R22 refrigerant plus we offer the complete phase out planning package.
The modern refrigeration and air-conditioning units perform better are more efficient and can save you money in the long term. By replacing your R22 equipment you will gain greater control over your building’s temperature and cut your carbon emissions.
Your replacement may also be eligible for tax relief under the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) Scheme too!
The R22 Phase Out gives you an opportunity to redevelop your system making it fit for your current requirements. Whether you only replace particular components or install a brand new system we can adapt it to give you the units and capacity you require. By utilising your existing pipework, we can upgrade your equipment while minimising cost and disruption.
The R22 Phase Out is a legal requirement, we at ACES are experts in the installation of new refrigeration and air-conditioning units and will offer you a free site survey and quotation and now that the deadline has passed for R22 replacement we recommend you consider your phase out planning options.
As your system ages, it’s more likely to break down or fail completely. Normally you could keep it running by spending more on maintenance and repairs, but, now the R22 Phase Out deadline has passed don’t wait until it is too late to replace it.
